Stressed and out

From being someone with zero adamance, anyone can turn xtremely adamant on passage of time. Role of time itself in such a change? Very high.

When you expectantly wait for something for over a year, say, a carnival and within a week of the event, some (our) boss changes his plans and plans, inadvertently ofcourse, to keep you stuck up at an extreemely 'enjoyable'(read antonym)official work so that you are exactly over 180 kms from the carnival on the D day. Wat do u do? pull out ur hair one by one as u watch ur dreamz go up in d air b4 ur eyes? Bang all the tables in front of you for a week? Listen to death metal songs (for the first time possibly) in full volume to vent out ur frustration?

I believe nothing can disturb ur mental tranquility as ur desparation for attending the event. A third person's plans which changes in the last minute may alter ur stress levels for the worse within seconds.

How to handle it? I dont know. There is a chance of desparation motivating you to perform at breakneck speed (like in the exams).

Or it may worsen your mood and keep you distressed for ages, or so it may seem, like it is to me now.

Lesson learnt over time: Bite all ur nails and hope that the carnival comes along the next year.
